We are Clement and Florent (Clem & Flo for short), both 30 years old, a stable yet adventurous couple ready to welcome a child into our family. We are responsible, maintaining healthy lifestyles and always finding room for a little fun and laughter, even in the most ordinary moments. Our roots are in France, but we've found a home in a lively and friendly neighborhood in New York City. We've been together for nine years and married for five, and we can't wait to start the next phase of our life journey!
Our story
Who we are
We are a French couple, living in a friendly neighborhood in New York City. We have been together for almost 10 years, we share a deep, connected relationship and are truly soulmates. At 30 years old, we have an active lifestyle and love nature and embarking on adventures, from city trips to hiking trails. Yet, we value the simple pleasures too, like spending time with family and friends. Our relationship grows stronger as years go by, and we couldn’t be more excited about this next step in our life.
Meet Florent
I'm a consultant in the healthcare industry and I absolutely love my job. I spend my days learning about a fascinating field and talking to interesting people, and time just flies by.
Spending time with my friends and family is incredibly important to me. We spend a lot of time together, and I dream of having the same closeness with Clement and our children as the one I had with my parents and siblings. I have known for a long time that I want to have children, and I quickly realized that Clement was the person I wanted to embark on that journey with.
Meet Clement
I'm a curious person who enjoys learning new things. I am interested in everything from world history to natural sciences. Lately, I've been exploring the history of the Middle Ages. I love to discuss these topics with Florent when we both come home in the evening.
My experience as a high school science teacher has made me realise how much I love helping children understand how the world works and seeing them grow throughout the year.
How we met
Visiting the Taj Mahal in IndiaOur story started in 2013 in college. At first, we were just friends and, after our school’s humanitarian expedition to Nepal, wanted to travel in the region. At the end of the summer of 2014, we embarked on a five-week backpacking adventure across India. Upon returning to France, we confessed our feelings to each other and started dating. A year later, we moved in together.
We got married in June 2018. It was an incredible moment to celebrate our love and partnership with all our family and friends. It was a beautiful moment that we always look back on with joy. It's been nine years since we've been together, and it's a joy every day. We would be thrilled to share this happiness with a child.

Our relationship
Together, we have built a relationship based on honesty and trust. We believe in open communication and supporting each other in becoming the best versions of ourselves. As partners and best friends, we know that we can rely on one another to share everyday joys as well as life’s significant milestones. We often reflect on the incredible fortune we had of finding each other.
We are excited about welcoming a child into our home. Our commitment to each other and our shared values are the foundation of our family. We will give our child the same values of love, respect, and kindness that have guided us throughout our lives.

We feel fortunate to call Greenwich Village in New York City our home. It's a lively neighborhood offering restaurants with cuisines from all around the world right at our doorstep. There is no shortage of entertainment with theaters, live music venues, and museums in the area.

Caring for children
We enjoy caring for children so much! When we're with our nephews Joseph and Isaac, Florent is always there to change diapers, prepare bottles, and play together for hours. And Clement? Well, Joseph knows he can always count on him for storytime during the day or before bedtime.
We're excited to share these moments with our own child. Whenever Joseph and Isaac are around, Clement’s entire family has their attention focused on them: we know that our families will be there to support us and create a loving and fun environment for our kid.

Christmas
Christmas holds a special place in our hearts. It has always been a time in our lives when our extended families come together to share the latest news and welcome new additions to the family.
There's nothing like the warmth of a family Christmas dinner and the exchange of gifts. It's a time for us to reconnect with our loved ones, and we love travelling back and forth across France between our two families to spend as much time as possible with them every year.
Christmas is all about being together. We are committed to passing on the joy of Christmas to our child, surrounded by the love of family.
